The University of Texas at Austin was among the first 16 business schools invited to become members of the elite Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) during our founding 100 years ago. Today we are counted among a very select group of schools with AACSB credentials in both business and accounting.
We are proud to share the AACSB vision of five distinct roles that will define the innovative, connected, and nimble business schools of tomorrow:
- Catalysts for Innovation
- Hubs of Lifelong Learning
- Co-creators of Knowledge
- Leaders on Leadership
- Enablers of Global Prosperity
“Our goals are clear, and the faculty, staff, and students have created a learning environment that is unsurpassed. It is now our duty as alumni and supporters to create opportunities for future generations.”

Consider the broad and deep capacities found on our expansive campus—one of the largest and most diverse in the world. Future opportunities are truly boundless, given the Texas can do attitude that has always characterized our efforts – and that of our students.
We invite our students, alumni, and loyal supporters to think big, help focus our resources, and create with us the McCombs School in its second century.
